The Story of Me
I have a bachelors degree in Graphic/Interactive Design from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. After getting my bachelors degree from WCU, I was hired as a design intern by SynaTek Solutions. Upon graduation, I was hired full-time designer and 2 years later became their Creative Director.
Currently residing in the Philadelphia area I continue my work for SynaTek Solutions, while also exploring the many freelance opportunities the area has to offer (many of which are displayed in my portfolio). I provide all branding services to clients under my self-owned business, Best Day Yet LLC.
A brief breakdown of my creative process: For me the process starts with an idea. This is usually collaborative effort between myself and a colleague or client. The idea then begins to take shape through a sketch or other physical manifestation. The sketch then becomes a starting point for several creative comps. From here, the design goes through an extensive decision making and tweaking process until both myself and the client are satisfied with the result.
My style lends itself to cleanliness and precision, but can take on a more organic illustrative quality if appropriate. My goal is to provide versatile branding and designs that are flexible, and can work for many platforms and purposes.
After hours, we keep the creativity flowing musically and artistically. Additional creative outlets of mine include: Playing the guitar, photography, and illustrating. Some of my additional hobbies are: Traveling, kayaking, biking, hiking, yoga or simply laying in a hammock relaxing; Anything that allows me to breath in the fresh air.
